tag ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and display name. This is used solely to manage your account and sync your data across devices.
When you scan products, we store your scan history, saved lists, and dietary preferences to provide personalized recommendations. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure servers when you have an account.
If you subscribe to tag Premium, purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous user ID — no personal information is shared with them.
We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or health data. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secure servers hosted by Supabase. Local data is stored in your device's sandboxed app storage.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. This permanently removes all your data from our servers and clears local storage on your device.
tag does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
